Has your order partially arrived?
Good morning,
had already opened a similar topic.
I ordered three things from eis de, but only one arrived. The package was torn and, well…
I wrote an email and they said I should send it in and I would get a replacement.
This was then forwarded to a higher department (for whatever reason) and they told me that since DHL said the package arrived properly, it was my fault??
There is no evidence from the delivery person that the package arrived safely…
A drop-off permit exists for my front door, but the package was left in front of the garage…
what should I do now???
That's the annoying thing about parking permits: you can't refuse to accept them.
The delivery person doesn't actually need any proof, as they don't document every package.
Contact Eis, they're the only ones who have to deal with it, and they have to refund you. You can be completely indifferent to what DHL does. You don't have a contract with DHL, but with Eis, and they've commissioned a service provider to fulfill part of the purchase agreement (shipping) for them. What they do with the service provider and whether they pay out is irrelevant to you.
Okay, so does that mean you are obligated to ensure complete delivery in any case?
As I said, their support is terrible. It's all first-level bots, and when you do get someone on the phone, you're immediately redirected to their email address.
I made it to second-level support once and they said it was my own fault because according to DHL the package was delivered properly.
It's not your fault; they have to take care of proper delivery, not you. Just email them with a deadline. How did you pay?
Luckily, I paid via PayPal. I returned the package yesterday as instructed in the first email. I'll see if they'll refund or replace it. Otherwise, I'll open a PayPal case.
