Has my email inbox been hacked?
I just noticed that I have an email in my spam folder in which someone claims to have hacked my operating system and has video footage of me masturbating. I know that's not true because the only devices I have with a camera are my cell phone and my Amazon Echo Show 2 and the camera has been taped over for over a year. But now to my actual question: according to Outlook, the sender is my email address with my profile picture. Since the sender has the same profile picture, I changed my profile picture out of interest, but the profile picture in the email has also changed. As far as I can see, the content of the email is also spelled correct, which is usually the case with such scam emails. What should I best do? Should I contact Microsoft support?
With Microsoftsupport, I don’t know what to do with your email address? I’d change the password first. Then change the profile picture again and see if it changes again!
I have my email mailbox at Outlook. The profile image has also changed after password change.
This is spam. Delete and forget.
This happens regularly in our company and the computers do not have any cameras and websites for adults are blocked on the server side.
although the profile image in the mail changes as soon as I change it in my account?
Jahaaa!
No, the sender can be changed.
does that not mean that the email was sent from my address?
Is fake hahahah
