It’ll take months until everything’s like it used to. But after 2 weeks it should be loadable, only extreme loads (e.g. in sports) should avoid longer. However, this also depends on how operated and with which technique the intestine was sealed.

no – whether the intestine has been sewn or presumably clipped. The clips remain as they are, the threads have to dissolve.

The outside is important to the patient because it is visible. But it’s just cosmetics. Inside is decisive, just not visible etc.

Should be!

Until full healing, it takes a few days.

You shouldn’t do sports yet. After a week, the outer plaster is already removed. But as it looks inside, you can’t control.

At the Bundeswehr I was freed of sports and march for 6 weeks. It’s been 50 years ago, but it certainly had its reason.
