Through the films one has received a certain picture over the years and combines many roles with the corresponding actors. And there were really many good actors. I can hardly imagine another snap, another McGonagall, another Hagrid etc. That would be less a matter if it were playing at another time. A series will always be compared with the films and then really must stand out. It would have to follow the book. Then it might have a chance.
To be honest, I’m really happy. Sure would have been a series about, for example, the Marauders mega, but still I am totally looking forward to the series.

This seems to me to be an admission that the Rowling Wordbuilding is simply not good enough to tell meaningful and coherent stories outside Hogwarts.
Quite in principle as a fan of books, I know that the films are not really perfect, but until a few exceptions I don’t think that’s a bad thing, because there were some story lines in the books that did not harm the cuts.
In the end, I don’t think this series is necessary, shouldn’t be really good I’m just not going to look at it, but if it’s going to be good again for my expectations, I’d like to take it with you.

Whether I find the implementation tip depends a bit on how much commercialization is done, how closely the series is oriented towards the film and whether it comes from the feather of fans or Rowlings is involved.
For me, the connection of the magical animal series to Harry Potter is too low. There’s Dumbledore. There’s Nagini. There’s Grindelwald. These are the only links (besides the magic mechanism). If you take this away, it could be two completely different worlds.
For a series, I would like her to treat the life at the time of Harry’s parents or to connect to the HP films and let the children of HP and Co. experience adventure. I think it’s really cool. Many things are not so well described in the films that can be different in the series. It’s probably hard to get used to the new actors, but I’m still looking forward to it.

I don’t think the idea is so good. In itself, I have nothing against a series, but this is about exactly the same topics as in the movie. So there’s nothing new and it’s just a “Abklatsch” of the movie with new actors. Would it be a new topic, such as treating Harry’s parents’ school time, I would find the idea a little better.
