‘Handshake’ is an ANGLIZISMUS, that is an English-accepted expression. So it is not a real neologism.
That would be, for example, “Handdruckrei”. (Doesn’t come through…). 😁

“Handdruckrei” would be absolutely blew. Why not “hand pressure” or “hand stroke”?

The whole thing was just a cheerful demonstration for the creation of a neologism. “Händedruck” is already available in the vocabulary of the standard German.
