hamster twitches so strangely why?
Hello, my female dwarf hamster has been twitching strangely lately. She's incredibly gentle and keeps grabbing my hand on her own. I wanted to ask what's causing the twitching. It looks like she has the hiccups, but they've been going on for quite a while. She's also constantly stretching and dragging one of her legs (her left hind leg) behind her. Now I'm worried that she might be sick or something. Please help me. I'll monitor her over the next few days and give you more information.

Whatever it is, put it in the transport box and drive to the vet, now!
That doesn't sound good!
Possibly stroke or something, but what it really is can only say a vet.
Even if the hamster sleeps:
Simply put in a transport box, fill in a blanket under your hamster and then quickly to the veterinarian, just write your parents!
Good luck!
Thank you
Sure!
Immediately to the vet. There are sometimes very good and helpful answers – but for medical emergencies this is not a platform. We're not doctors!
Okay, thanks
Absolutely to the vet!
If she was a guinea pig, I would have tipped on guinea pig paralysis, the symptoms are typical, but at hamsters I don't know that exactly…
If you can take a physical look at her, get her to the vet right away! Watching a few days could also end in the death of the hamster…
what? But this is still so young:( I'm going to tell my parents that they're still working, but they're both asleep right now and so, do I have to wake them up?

Go to the vet best. It doesn't sound good.
Okay, I'll divorce my parents, but they still work:(
What are you waiting for?
Okay, thanks
