Why do the BBs roll out of the front of my Sig Sauer 1911 WTP?

Hello everyone! I recently bought a CO2 pistol (Sig Sauer 1911 WTP) because it had piqued my interest for some time. Now, before I bought it, I looked at a few reviews which never reported such a problem, but when I tested the gun for the first time today, I got a lot of blank…

Can a 7.5 joule air rifle kill a rat?

Can the "rabbit hunt" at the shooting range be manipulated by the fair, or the air rifles?

I went to a fair today. For years it has become the norm to have a ghost train, a shooting range with the tin animals on the conveyor belt and a gingerbread heart. I'm pretty good at seeing passing metal animals, but today none of the animals I hit fell backward. Of course, the counter…
Are airsoft guns bigger than real ones?
Hello, Are airsoft guns bigger than regular ones? My friend once showed me his airsoft gun, and it was big. Thanks!
You ask for 9mm
I therefore assume that you mean a 9 x 19 mm cartridge, also known as 9mm Parabellum or 9mm Luger.
This should be the most widely used short-arm cartridge used worldwide, military and police.
The projectile speed (column speed, i.e. V0) is up to 600m/s or 2.160 km/h
This depends, among other things, on the weapon.
Google says:
The muzzle speed is in the range of approximately 100–150 m/s (approximately 300–600 km/h).
All information without guarantee.
I guess Google must have promised. …: the normal muzzle speed of commercial 9 para ammunition (8 grams bullet) is about 350 – 400 m/sec from short weapons.
An air rifle with 7.5 joule already reaches a V0 of 160m/s.
Our service delivered 9 x 19 is 590m/s
If you mean the usual and “civil” ammunition, your information will be included, which is more than 400 m/s.
In the case of rechargers, it is quite different, because it is possible to achieve stronger values – taking into account the permissible laboratory.
Then there is also “early ammunition” which is not available for civilians….
By the way, Wikipedia is generally well informed – please check which data is given there….

Sure you mean the muzzle speed and not the bullet energy…? 😉
I have four different types of normal 9 para in front of me and, according to the data on the box, they are all well below 400 m/sec.
The Magtech Subsonic is only 305 m/sec.
