Hello, I have a question. Can the job center force me to work in a workshop for people with disabilities? Because I simply don't want to.

I was given a job offer in a program called "Movement." They told me I could apply anywhere. My question now is, I definitely don't want to go to the disabled workshop anymore. I've now applied again.

I don’t really know myself, but I think this works legally only if you don’t have school degrees and you haven’t been in vain for the last few years, e.g.

if I am a 27-year-old school terminator and not able to build qualifications in the last five years or if you are, mentally/intellectually below average,

Apply yourself to the first labour market and let the employment office make suggestions.

As long as you actively seek, no one can force you to a certain activity.

No, not basically.

As I said, apply and actively seek a place.

So what?

There are many disabled people who work “just normal”. The workplace may have to be adapted. You have to see that in individual cases. And the employer also gets grants.

What profession do you have?

You decide.

My personal experiences with the employment office (not job center) are that you have to be active yourself. Then you don’t get any problems.

Force as such no.

The rest is too complicated to answer this.
