Hair analysis?

Hello, my dears,

I'm having a hair analysis for alcohol on April 28. Abstinence will also help me with the MPU (medical examination) I have to take.

I know I might not get a direct answer to my question here, but it's worth a try.

I haven't had anything to drink since the beginning of January. I regularly use hairspray, or other cosmetic products like deodorant, hair gel, etc.

Since I was a bit unsure whether these products, which often contain alcohol denat., could influence my hair analysis in April

I contacted the lab. At first, they said there wouldn't be any problems and I could use hair gel, hairspray, perfume, etc. as usual. Body creams containing alcohol wouldn't be a problem either.

Today I called the lab again because I wanted to ask about mouthwash containing alcohol, whether that would also be safe. However, I was then told that I had to avoid all products containing alcohol. I find this somewhat ambiguous, since they initially stated that cosmetic alcohol is different from the actual alcohol (ETG) in beer bottles, etc., and isn't measured in a hair analysis.

Does anyone have any experience with hair transplantation? This will be my first.

Maybe someone can ease my worries a little. I work in a job where I have to use disinfectant frequently.

LG. Simon

Good question,

I'd start the whole thing with urine samples if you don't get any further.

Or you're looking for a conversation with a traffic psychologist and then ask him

if necessary you can also ask a lawyer who is specialized in traffic law

Best regards 🙂
