Hackers Just Desk Workers at the BND?
Hello,
I'm seriously considering a dual degree program in digital administration and cybersecurity at the BND. My goal is to pursue a career as a hacker afterward.
My biggest concern is that I mostly sit at a desk and perform office-like tasks. Therefore, I would like to know whether hackers at the BND can also perform operational activities abroad.
I would also be interested to know whether special training is offered for deployment abroad, covering topics such as entry requirements, self-protection, and possibly even basic survival techniques.
I am aware that the work of a hacker in reality is different from what is portrayed in many films.

Once your school is finished, I’d say, and then you’ll see more:)
And then, of course, you should have a very good cut and at best have references…..The BND often only comes in by recommendation.

How not helpful? You need either good grades or a good study or a recommendation differently is not possible
A friend used to work at the BND and he just came in because he was before the Bundeswehr and was recommended.

Well, there is only one NC (2.7) on the BND website for the dual study programme ‘News service study’. In addition, the BND has a lack of cybersecurity experts, which is why I can hardly imagine that he only accepts people with best scores. But I can imagine that you have better chances with a recommendation.
