Hack Paypal via email address?
Hey, I received a request on TikTok today from an American artist who asked if she could use my images for an art project and send me compensation via PayPal. This person has been posting her artwork on TikTok since the beginning of 2023, but has very few followers. Money always sounds good, of course, but I'm definitely skeptical because, after I asked about her Instagram, she said that it was "blocked a few minutes ago." Could anything happen if I just gave the person my email address? I should probably just leave it and not respond, right? Or how could the person prove to me that this is all real? Dass man den PayPal account nennt, ist zunaechst normal. Damit laesst sich das Konto nicht hacken, da man ein Passwort benoetigt. Ich wuerde eine Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung bei PayPal vornehmen, wenn man Bedenken hat, das ist dann sicher.
Ansonsten klingt das aber schon, als wollte sie ueber den Tisch ziehen, da sie sofort abblockt wegen Insta. Vielleicht verwendet sie die Bilder tatsaechlich und solange sie kein eindeutiges Nein bekommt, interpretiert sie den Chat als ein Ja. Ich wuerde das unterbinden mit einer schriftlichen Unterlassungsforderung etc.
Sie bräuchte dein Passwort um Paypal zu hacken!
Aber glaubwürdig klingt das eher nicht.
