From school, we had made a brewery tour. We got a good insight into the whole brewing process – from malting to cooking to filling. It was interesting to get to know the different ingredients and see how simple raw materials such as water, malt, hops and yeast beer are produced. We were also allowed to try a few different varieties, which of course was the highlight of the tour.

Yeah, I even made a little seminar.

Was an extremely busy day, but I would do it again at any time.

Yeah, but it’s been decades since, it was a visit with the school class and we got everyone a small bottle. This brewery is no longer available.

I used to live next to a brewery. Unfortunately, they are no longer available.

The castle brewery in Schwalmtal. Excellent beer was brewed until 1996. In 2011, the old buildings were demolished. Today there’s a Lidl market.

Okay. In the brewery where I was, the Private brewery Bischoff in Winnweiler. It was founded in 1866 and has brewed well-known beer for a long time. Unfortunately, it had to close in 2022 and the buildings are no longer used for brewing. It is always a pity when such traditional businesses disappear.

Hello, Peter. 😊

No, I’ve never come to this pleasure, even though I’ve worked in Hesse with big breweries……

Greetings, Renate. 😊

Fortunately, we have two brewers in the family!
Therefore: Yes! And: It is not a (!) disadvantage to know Braumeister!
