I was at the Volkshochschule, I took a Spanish course there.

And I also know the Duolingo app, I’m registered there. I believe it is much more effective to teach a VHS course under the guidance of a person; my course manager was a Spaniard who has lived in D for decades.

In the VHS course, you will not only learn vocabulary in writing, but also oral pronunciation, talk to other students dialogues. We had this course https://www.thalia.de/shop/home/artikeldaten/A1031129692which we had to buy also got homework. The booklet also contains a CD with the help of which you had to practice at home.

in the end everyone has to find out for themselves what works best with him. I’ve always tried some things myself, with an app not always being suitable for me at all points and so I already use 2 different. In any case, the additional write-up should provide an improvement for everyone.

Sure, because that’s how you can also own your own vocabulary with vocabularies that you find more interesting in person.

In Spanish it is also advisable to learn the grammar. Vokabeln are not everything and much is expressed in Spanish by small differences in the shapes where it needs additional words in German. However, they are already implicit in the Spanish forms, in particular also time forms.

I was in primary school classes and practiced at home, and also a vowel booklet. Had workbooks I learned and filled out at home.

That worked very well.

Maybe that would also be a learning method for you?

Hey, Duolingo is actually just a good starting point for learning the basics, but not really more.

For example, I founded Plaudli (plaudli.de). Is a tool with which you can practice languages in real conversation scenarios.

For example, I got my Spanish from A2 to almost B2 by working with the AI daily.

The software also has its own vocabulary learning function, so that you can repeat the experience every day (which is extremely important for vocabulary consolidation).

Try it out & let me know what I can improve 🙂
