I accidentally bumped into a woman on the bus. Should I feel bad now?
This morning on the bus there was an older woman, but she wasn't a grandmother, so it doesn't really matter. Anyway, she and I wanted to get on in the same row, opposite each other, meaning if you're standing in the aisle, she was in the two-row seat on the right and I was on the left. I bumped into her with my backpack, not intentionally, of course. Then I said to her loudly and angrily, "Watch out!" and then, of course, I immediately apologized. Then she grumbled something angrily to herself for the rest of the journey. I've been feeling pretty bad for hours now and am wondering if I did the right thing. I thought to myself, "Well, it can happen," and I did apologize, but on the other hand, I think, "You must be doing everything wrong." Can you tell me if I did the right thing, or if I should really feel bad about it.
The old man has overreacted, you don’t blame yourself at all, you have blazed and didn’t do it extra.
Of course it happens, more than apologise, you can’t. Most of the things that happened to me smile briefly and say it’s not a problem. That’s what it is. If someone’s bad, it’s not my problem anymore.
Clearly this can happen and the old one has completely overreacted…
Learn what’s going on, then it wasn’t around. If she learns anything from it, she’s her thing.
Helpful tip: I basically pull the backpack when I get into a bus/rail or the like. Minimizes the risk of wearing it in your hand.
Have you apologised, and have even reconsidered your behavior.
are a great young man, don’t worry, but keep this in mind.
next time it’s better and good, it’s not a world fall.
“of course not with intention” “naturally directly apologise” so…
?
Can happen. You did everything right
