Was sagt ihr dazu?

It is very dirty and difficult to judge. In my opinion, only the extra existing brick protection is damaged, which would be okay. Clean the spot and see that there are no bumps in the tire flank and no cracks, so you can see the fabric. Then it should fit. But I would continue to observe that in the course of the process no bulges are formed.

I’d show that to a tire service. I personally drive highway on the way to work daily, clearly over 130 kmh and would no longer trust this tire! If you only drive short distances within the city, the risk is significantly lower.

The tire’s got a good deal. I’m sure he won’t break. Also not on a longer track. But he hasn’t had eternal life anymore. Tires don’t “forget” that.

Since wire mesh in the tire is probably somewhat damaged. With time it will break or otherwise become noticeable.

Either way, the tire must be changed. And above all, I would avoid higher speeds (over 120). And as often as possible, see if something changes.

So you didn’t have to change the tire tomorrow. But this year.

No harm can be seen on the photo. The slightly scraped rubber is no longer bad, because it was only for protection of the rim. The inside of the tire should be checked for safety reasons.

I’d say that there’s a new tire due

Can you ask for security? Better once more than once less. I think you’re driving an Audi can be that?

I wouldn’t risk it, there’s even missing pieces…
