I have bronchitis. Is it because of asthma?
It started with a runny nose and sneezing. And a day later, the cough started, and at night I had trouble breathing, and I had a wheezing sound when I breathed in and out. I went to the doctor, and he listened to it and asked if I had ever had asthma. My parents said I had it as a child. Now my cough is still full of phlegm, and you can hear it, and my question is, could it be due to asthma? How do you know? I have no idea if I have asthma.
Then I would get a transfer to the lung doctor for an allergy test or lung function test.
Of course, one can get bronchitis regardless of asthma.
In bronchitis, everyone has a whistle, humming or even blubbing when breathing, because the bronchis are full of mucus. There is only a lot of drinking and if you feel badly breathing a spray from the doctor that opens the bronchi. That’s why asthma doesn’t have a long time.
