A little afraid of the world of work?
I am currently undergoing therapy in rehab.
There you have the educational protection and don't have to hustle or anything.
But what about a job as a software developer, for example? Can you take your time, or do you have to code super fast and perfectly, like in the movies?
Depends on where you work, but you have to deliver performance. How in the movie is it not (what film?). No one is perfect and mistakes are always made.
You don’t sit in offices and hammer rows into a BIOS-like structure. That’s all film. Nevertheless, there is also a certain time pressure, as everywhere.
No one can code perfectly, and no one expects you to get everything right away.
When I get into a new project, I need at least 8 months until I’m in, and that’s quite normal, and it’s all the others.
Software is very complex, and especially if you are Junior or Azubi, others will also have forbearance, even with more obvious mistakes.
If no mistakes were made, 60% of my work would be gone.
Mistake. The crowd is crucial.
If you’re making crap, it’s bad. But mistakes happen every time. And you’re not the only one who works on things either.
You don’t have any pressure?
Work should be nix to be afraid of.
This is true, but work does not consist exclusively of beautiful pages.
