Did I take the morning-after pill too late?
I took the morning-after pill about 61 hours after protected sex.
My fertile days were from January 1st to 5th, but I had sex on the 2nd and didn't take the pill (Vikela) until 2 days later (61 hours in my case), i.e. on the 4th.
I'm afraid that, despite using a condom (which didn't break at all), I've been fertilized and that the morning-after pill won't work either. I haven't noticed any symptoms other than fatigue.
Could someone with experience help me?
What do you think you’re supposed to take? The pill after that is not a substitute for the right pill. Tiredness is not yet a safe sign and so early it is impossible to establish a pregnancy I guess. Call your doctor. Actually, a condom is already very safe, but if you’re afraid, let yourself be advised what methods there are for you.
If you don’t want to wait, talk to your female doctor.
You had GV 3 days ago. You’re not pregnant with the best will and you don’t have any signs of pregnancy.
If you had protected traffic, why even the pill after?
You obviously do not trust condoms – which are quite sure (provided quality and proper application). Why do you even prevent condoms? Use the time until the possible pregnancy test or the beginning of the period best to deal with alternatives that give you the feeling of higher safety.
Conclusion: You have taken the pill after it (and not written by anyone). Pregnancy is therefore unlikely.
It can be seen from the leaflet that the pill can prevent pregnancy in 52% – 85% of cases. It looks better, the sooner you take it. It is best to take them within the first 12 hours, but not later than 72 hours.
61 what, hours or days?
For 61 days I would say yes clearly too late…
at 61 hours it may also be too late.
You’ll find out in 17 with a pregnancy test.
Was the condom broken?
19 days after GV you can test yourself for a SS
No, I don’t know.
Then why did you take the pill after that?
