No.

“bath salts” is comparable to the term “mood mixture”.

Both were (or are, depending on) people understood their semi-legal drugs to sell them. When you write on it, it’s more illegal than if you say it would be just tipping into the bath water.

Selling something to the CONSUM has more and more regulations than just selling it for another purpose. If that guy smokes, he’s guilty of himself, huh?

So no it’s not WIRKLICH bath salts, that was just a grasp to be able to sell them safer than that had a hype

“Badesalz” is a term for various psychoactive substances which have been sold misleadingly or for legal reasons under this name and with the addition “not suitable for consumption”. In Germany, some of these substances fall under the drug law, which is why the mere possession is already punishable for their own needs, some of them under the New Psychoactive Substance Act, which nevertheless prohibits possession. I do not know whether there are currently appropriate substances on the market that fall under any of these two laws.

You never know exactly what is actually contained in such a “bath salt”, since the providers generally do not provide exact information. If you do not know exactly what you actually take, of course you do not know how it works or affects and how it must be dosed (cf. Safer use).

The consumption of such products, with non-declared ingredients, is urgently to be discouraged. The consequences of an overdose can be devastating. But even if one knows what is contained in such a product, it is probably rather dangerous and, above all, unexplored substances, over whose risks, side effects and long-term effects are little to nothing known. Although the label of legality is often advertised, these products do not have to be legal. There are reports that, long after a ban, active substances have been circulated which should not have been circulated. By the way, such substances could be tested here, free and anonymous: https://legal-high-contentstoffe.de/en/testen.html
