Good morning, I just climbed to 40,000 feet in an Airbus A350. I have a 125-knot headwind, but I'm still constantly losing speed at altitude. The other aircraft flying in the same direction are much faster than me. Why am I losing speed, and can I change this?
On long-haul flights, I basically choose a corridor – because you can stretch your legs better – and you can get up easily and take a few steps!
