I advise freshlings at/for sport reportage to FZ 1000 even if the camera cannot focus during zooming, but there are areas there the optics parfocal where it does not notice. There are few DSLRs equipped with a 100-400 optics as quickly as a FZ1000 focus or implement comparable hit rates.
The FZ1000 II and the FZ2000 can focus on zooming but are not yet in budget.
Otherwise, the Nikon D300/D300s at Autofocus is still combined with fast optics in the upper league, especially with complex motifs where DSLM uses a lot of computing time. However, the D300 is a professional camera without a program or scene automation for beginners. The compromise is the D7000 Semi Pro which, however, moves in the autofocus in the area of the Olympus M10.
Take a used DSLR, you will have your fun with it!
With many bridges and compact cameras you have to zoom with the same finger as you trigger. At Downhill it must go fast, the bridge and compact cameras where I tried do not even bring the zoom speed where it needs to be able to keep up with an approaching bike.
I photographed car races (mountain races) with various Nikon DSLR’s (D70, D1x, D2x, D300). zoom with one hand, the camera makes to trigger the autofocus and with the other hand (serial recording).
The yield, 938 usable photos on a day. My buddy tried with a bridge to zoom the sad result… 11 photos, 8 of them for the garbage can vulnerable The bridge was just too slow to zoom the attempt during the shooting he immediately gave up and when he had the vehicle on the monitor and pushed it off, only half the vehicle was on the photo…
For 250 € (new price) there is hardly anything that brings significantly better results than a good phone.
If you really want better results, you need a system camera and a high-speed tele… then you can realize short exposure times and freeze the movement and let the background get blurred (release)
Thanks for your answer, the thing is I don’t have a good phone with which I can take photos. This is now 5 years old and was already one of the most affordable handys.

Something like that would be an entrance… 10 years old model, but a real system camera where you can adjust all parameters to get optimal results.
For a tele, you would have to save, but if there is no 1; 2.8 for use.
For 250€, you honestly don’t get much, I’d advise you to save some more, the next birthday will come and Easter will be on the door. Tell your parents and family members that you want to buy a camera and make them gifts for you.
Best camera you will get for 250€ is ne EOS 60D, with their 9 AF points is not the yellow of the egg, but will definitely deliver you better pictures than a mobile phone.
Here with the 18-135mm kit objective for 250€, which is quite cheap as the lens is already worth at least 150€:
Canon eos 60D Kit EF-S 18-135 IS and EF 50mm f/1.4 USM in North Rhine-Westphalia – Gütersloh | eBay classifieds (ebay-sizeanzeigen.de)
But I would rather save on a 70D without a lens around 300€.
Ahmmm for 250 you will find nix wanted one for 500 at the time but have noticed that the price is still too small from 700 you could get used eos models you need to pay attention to the closing time at least at 1/2000
Don’t do anything. It’s nothing for simple cameras, because the camera has to follow the focus. There it takes a good camera and good lens for sports photography / wildlife. For 250 you might be able to borrow something for a month, problem is that you can’t handle it.
