Good reproduction in ornamental snails?
Hello,
I am looking for beautiful and large ornamental snails for my aquarium, but I prefer easy reproduction.
Of course, I am not talking about bladder snails or small ramshorn snails, but about snails that are in the range of about 3 to 8 cm.
It is a freshwater tank whose water values can still be adjusted but must also withstand temperatures of around 26 degrees.
I would have in mind turret snails, snails, staghorn snails, etc.
If anyone has experience with this, I would be happy to hear some advice.

Hi,
Hast ja einige genannt, bei der Geweih- als auch bei der Rennschnecke ist keine Fortpflanzung zu erwarten, das funktioniert im Süsswasser nicht.
Bei der Turmdeckelschnecke kommt es drauf an welche Art favorisiert wird, die Brotia kann nachgezogen werden im süsswasser sofern Männchen und Weibchen vorhanden sind. Das sieht bei der Tylomelania schon wieder anders aus.
Was mir noch einfallen würde wäre Zebraapfelschnecken, die kann man recht unkompliziert vermehren. Dekorativ sind auch 😊
