Guppy babies different sizes?

Hello, dear GuteFrage users, how is it possible that my guppy babies are completely different sizes? One looks like the parent, only smaller, while the next looks like a larva without fins. Can someone explain this to me?

LG and thank you

Hello,

quite simply, the throw at Guppy can take longer, two days are no rarity, so there are quite differences in size!

Yes, sometimes some think that can’t be that I get a boy, because I don’t have any males in the pelvis, but if at some point a male was in the pelvis, the females are also fertilized and through the fertilization of the stock this is enough for some more litter!

Yours were probably pregnant when you got them!

All right, then the females are “permanent” anyway, I just thought because you wrote,

because I don’t have them long.

Maybe then the boys are even of different females? You’ll see it, because in ~4 weeks it’s ready again!
