The engine then hums like a V8 for a short time when accelerating. Could it be something serious? I checked the axles and luckily, there's nothing wrong there. But I'd like to know what's causing this noise. The car is a 2003 Audi A3 1.6 petrol engine.
The car should offer maximum driving pleasure and not be too expensive to maintain. Practicality is irrelevant.
