GT86 or Audi TT 1.8?
Hey, since I'm finally getting a new car soon and want it to be a bit sporty, I'm currently wondering whether to get a GT86 or an Audi TT.
Selling after 2-3 years is also important to me.
What do you think of the cars?
I would be very grateful for any experiences with the car or answers.
Opinions are also very welcome.

When it comes to the pure driving pass, it must be a rear drive. In the case of the GT86, the anti-slip system can be reduced in one stage and switched off in another stage. The car can be driven in the power slide around curves.
The front drive is a good-natured one, but the endlessly rigid front wheels are simply fun and boring.

Picture: Toyota sports car with rear drive and boxer motor, that was already the case: Toyota Sports800 from 1966.
Thanks a lot
I personally like the GT-86 very well. Looks very sporty and with the 2.0l suction boxer also a good machine. Of course, you should be aware that the nominal 200 hp is only in top speeds. But rear wheel drive is also fine.
If you decide for the GT-86, I would also compare the Subaru BRZ. This is supposed to be cheaper in terms of insurance and is absolutely identical (up to minimum running gear differences).
Thank you. The problem with the subaru is that the cars often go worse and usually tend to almost identical Toyota.
Do you have any experience about the rear seats? Are you both very “emergency seats” but in the Toyota they are supposed to be a little wider and more pleasant than the Audi can agree?
I didn’t have the GT86 myself, but I could imagine it well (but then a mustang). I wouldn’t expect the seats in the back if you were planning long distances. Otherwise, I would estimate the back from the cut of the vehicle more than the TT. But look at both of you on site and sit sample, you get the best answer.
What kind are we talking about?
GT86 is a nice car but I would rather consider selling an exot the not SOO many. Audi tt knows everyone .. even my cry:D the demand will surely be bigger here.
However, the GT86 is likely to be a little cheaper, which again relativizes the purchase and also the loss of value could be less.
Personally, I would still be the complete car at the Audi .. for me.
the gt is …. mal overspitzt formulated .. wanted and not skilled .. with us in the area drives the usual clientel… 18-25, necessarily wants a “sportscar”, wants to be noticed (mostly still around)… the image has the car now unfortunately for me (may surely not be chewed but naja … )
The thing is that the TT is significantly more expensive. The GT86 is already “the” GT 86 for the sales price (entry price).
The TT is a small turbo gasoline with front drive. With Allrad then linked to any motorizations (probably the diesel and the top models).
With Quattro you have a good car, but drive two driven axles around and the TT is very head-loaded as most Audis. The GT86 has rear wheel drive and a super concept. He’s definitely the more sportsman.
resale will be significantly better at TT. They need more people. What you do with nem GT86 should be clear if the price you are looking for is comparatively too high after 2-3 years, the interested parties are reaching the new car with estate.
My opinion:
Optimize the TT, from driving and the price performance the GT86.
If I were interested in a GT86, the same subaru would be my case. GT86 is often seen, the BRZ is rarer.
GT 86 and BRZ Subaru have boxer motor. What makes you unique. You can better sell the Audi.
Toyota GT86 of course.
