Grounding plug on switched socket?

Hello everyone

I'm buying a grounding mat with a grounding plug for the outlet. My question is: Will this also work with a switched outlet? I want maximum safety, so I'd prefer a non-powered outlet. I assume this won't affect the grounding, right?

Thank you very much for your help!

Only the PE is connected to the grounding plug, so you don’t need to be afraid.

In addition, the PE conductor must never be switched.

Only N and L are connected to your outlet. (at least if the electrician did not sleep during assembly)

You can easily plug this grounding plug into any socket, whether it is a switched or unconnected socket. The plug contacts on the plug, which would actually go into the two holes of the socket, are not present. Only the protective conductor connection or PE of the socket is connected to the connecting cable and the grounding mat.

Since the PE should not be switched on, this should be the case.

Earth is never switched. Unless an Ignorant did something.
