Graphics card won't lock into place?

I bought a new graphics card, an RX 6600. I plugged it into my motherboard, but it's plugged in properly, but it won't click into place. An RTX 2060 clicks into place, but the RX 6600 clicks into place on an MSI A 320M A Pro Max. Is something broken, because it works perfectly fine.

Hello,

in my experience,

Longer graphics cards rest on SATA ports or cooling fins at the back.

This is often less than 1mm.

This means that they cannot fully engage in the PCIe slot.

A photo of your situation would be good.

Then I take a key file
and rejuvenate the superstructures in this area.

The chips must then, of course, be carefully removed.

Covering the connectors is very helpful.
