Graphics card is not recognized and 2 monitors?
Hello,
About a month ago, my computer crashed, and I still don't know the reason. Anyway, I tried everything to get out of the blue screen and somehow start Windows, but nothing helped. Now, two days ago, I reinstalled Windows and, thankfully, didn't lose any data. But the problems don't seem to stop there.
My problem now is that my second monitor is not recognized, or rather only one at a time (it's not the cable or monitor's fault, I've already swapped the slots and it then always switches to the respective monitor).
I also noticed that the GPU is missing in the Task Manager, and I can't add it under View either.
Of course, I've already tried downloading the necessary drivers, but then another problem arises. Every time I install the driver , it crashes again, just like it did a month ago. The only difference, however, is that when I use Startup Repair to get into Windows, it restores itself to the point before the driver was installed.
(Additional information: Yesterday, he also crashed during a Windows update that he requested. He was able to install it anyway, but he only got back into the system by using the startup repair.)
Virus can also already be ruled out.
I hope you understand the question, I'm happy about every answer because I don't really know what to do next 😅
thanks in advance
Hallo yooloos,
LG KTM
Schaue auch mal in die Windows-Ereignisanzeige rein:
