Graphics card broken?

Hello,

First of all, I have a KFA2 RTX 4070. The card is eight months old, and I've just encountered a problem I can't explain. I have two monitors connected via DP and a TV via HDMI (although this is usually disabled in the Windows settings and only used when necessary). Everything has always worked. I've always been very careful with everything; the cables aren't under any tension or anything.

Well, today I wanted to play something on the TV again, and I went into the Windows settings, but the TV wasn't recognized. Logically, I checked everything first: were the cables plugged in correctly and was the TV on the right port? It still didn't work. I used a different cable and finally tried to see if my active monitor was working with the HDMI port. And it didn't. Windows doesn't recognize anything, and I don't get a picture.

Hence my conclusion: the HDMI port on the graphics card is defective. But why would it break if it's never been tampered with and is barely used?

Does anyone know anything about this and know if there is any way I can check it to definitely know if there is a defect?

Should I perhaps wait for the next driver update? Maybe Nvidia screwed something up 😂😂
