Hello,

so it is correct:

“Calculation of acidity according to the following formula: …”

The word “after” is here a ratio word/preposition and follows “the following formula”.

The word “following” would have a different meaning here:

“Calculation of the acidity of the following formula: …”

Correct would be here: “by the following formula”.

Both expressions are possible.
