Grafikkarte für mehrer Bildschirme auf Ubuntu installieren?
Hallo, ich habe auf meinem Desktop Ubuntu 20.04 installiert. Ich möchte drei oder mehr Bildschirme anschließen und habe mir deswegen folgende Grafikkarte bestellt:
ASUS GeForce GT 730 2GB DDR5 Grafikkarte (4x HDMI, Single-Slot-Design, passive Kühlung, GPU Tweak II, GT730-4H-SL-2GD5)
Die Frage ist nun, wie kriege ich meinen Rechner damit zum Laufen. Natürlich würde ich das gern von einem Fachmann machen lassen, aber ich weiß nicht, woher ich den nehmen soll. Glaubt mir, ich würde ordentlich abdrücken, aber mir haben die Scherzkekse schon mal zwei Soundkarten auf demselben Rechner eingebaut.
Daher meine Fragen:
- Die Karte die verbaut ist kann ich nicht rausnehmen, denn da hängt alles zusammen. Ich nehme an, dass ich software mäßig ausschalten kann. Tipps dazu?
- Die ASUS GeForce GT 730 2GB DDR5 läuft angeblich mit Linux. Kann ich den Treiber dann installieren, wenn ich es geschafft habe die eingebaute Grafikkarte auszuschalten?
- Wäre es besser mir Tafel und Kreide zu besorgen? :)!

You will probably currently use the iGPU (integrated GPU in the CPU).
Going into the UEFI and setting the GT730 as primary, depending on UEFI you can also disable the iGPU completely

I went to UEFI, but I didn’t find the graphics cards. Maybe you have another tip in which menu they could hide.
Otherwise, I simply built the graphics card. I then tried to install the Treiver NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-470.223.02.run. But he said:
An alteate method of installing the Nvidia driver was detected. I should install it through the Ubuntu Software Center. I didn’t find him there.
Now I use the card without driver installation. It actually works perfectly with three picture screens. This isn’t quite the same for me without driver installation, but I don’t find a driver that can be installed without error message.
It is not shown as such in the UEFi, you simply have to switch to PEG as a primary indicator, so you should stand there. iGPU or PEG have to choose from here if my heart does not irritate everything
