Hi, I'm planning on getting a new monitor. Since my display port is already occupied and I want to connect my second PC, I'm planning on buying a DisplayPort to HDMI connector to use it. Is this normally possible? Is it possible to plug the DisplayPort connector into the graphics card and the HDMI connector into the monitor?

Aber da musst du aufpassen. Displayport – HDMI Kabel haben eine Richtung. In die jeweils andere funktionieren sie nicht.
Man liest immer wieder schlechte Bewertungen bei solchen Kabeln und im Endeffekt haben die Leute nur die Beschreibung nicht gescheit gelesen.
Displayport auf HDMI ist auf jeden Fall viel leichter als anders herum.
