Gmail accounts used to be called google mail. Were the old google mail accounts deleted when google mail was renamed to gmail, or were the google mail accounts simply renamed to gmail?

Loading...I haven't received a single email since October 27, 2023! I should have received several, but not a single one arrived. I don't think anything has changed with my iPad in general. What could be the reason for this?

Good day, I have an email rule here that checks the subject line. Unfortunately, the number in the subject line changes. The rest remains the same. Is there any way I can change the rules so that it still recognizes this? I've only tried part of the subject, but unfortunately it doesn't work 🙁

My old Discord account was hacked and sent a link to every server. Now I've created a new account and I can't join any servers anymore. It keeps saying the invitation link has expired, but the server is still 100% active. What can I do?
That was always Gmail. Due to a trademark dispute, it was only marketed for a time as a Google Mail in Germany. The technique behind it was always the same as the “normal” Gmail.
Nothing was deleted. By the way, you can still write @googlemail and the mail arrives.
