Google Chrome Browserverlauf?
Bald drehe ich durch. 🙈 Nach einigen Monaten ist mir wieder das passiert, was mir in den letzten 1 bis 2 Jahren nun schon einige Male passiert ist. Plötzlich gehen alle Fenster von Google Chrome zu und ich kann sie nicht wieder herstellen. Es kommt zwar die Meldung, dass Chrome abgestürzt ist und dass ich die geschlossenen Fenster (mit einigen hundert Tabs(!!)) wieder herstellen kann. Doch, wenn ich darauf klicke, dann passiert gar nichts. Sehe ich im Verlauf nach, wird mir dort kein einziger Link angezeigt. Dort steht bloß der Text “Hier wird dein Browserverlauf angezeigt.” 🙈
Als dies das erste Mal passiert ist und hunderte Tabs verlorengegangen sind, war ich schon fast nahe eines Nervenzusammenbruchs, als hunderte offene Tabs, die sich in den letzten Wochen und Monaten angesammelt hatten, plötzlich verloren waren. 🙈 Heute schockiert es mich nicht mehr so sehr, doch bin ich verärgert, da ich mir erst heute vorgenommen hatte, alle offenen Tabs zu speichern. 🤦🏻♂️ Hat irgendjemand eine Idee, wie ich die geschlossenen Fenster wieder herstellen kann? Ich bin über jede Hilfe dankbar.

Solution: Do not leave hundreds of tabs open, but create bookmarks. And that you still use Windows 7, I also find hard at the border.
Windows 7 is one of the last reasonable operating systems Microsoft has released. The lack of security updates would be more problematic.
Maybe, but that’s like taking part in traffic with a car without working brakes. If you don’t like Windows from version 8, you can switch to Linux or Mac
The thread creator will certainly not be the only one that uses Windows 7. He can change, but he doesn’t have to. Linux is certainly a good alternative, but also requires different knowledge depending on the distribution.
If, as suspected elsewhere, Windows 7 is used, the question arises in which version. The 32-bit version can only manage 4 GB of RAM. This means that the memory would already be clearly concentrated for the typical data quantities.
The operating system still stores content of the browser to the hard disk (usually partition C). If there is little storage on this hard disk partition, the management of the data collapses. On the hard drive in such a constellation should be at least 20-30 GB space free.
Bookmarking pages or storing the URLs in a text file can help to back up the content, provided the browser sometimes resists this kind of digital dementia.
