Good street quads?

I'd like to buy a quad, but I don't want one of the big ones; I want something low and wide. I'd only ride it on the road for a bit of fun, so I don't see any everyday use for it. Accordingly, I want one that moves very well, so it should easily be able to go 100km/h. Can you recommend anything? PS: I'm not a beginner and I already have a lot of riding experience, but I have zero knowledge ;D

Hello, Jason.

the power of a quad is strongly dependent on the weight of the driver, apart from the motorization. This means a petty woman with 50kg is always a bit faster than a man with 100kg, with the same quad.

Good quads can also be subsequently fitted with road tires and other rims. For a final speed beyond 100 km/h, you need a quad with at least 350ccm. If you want to drive such speeds longer, it is recommended to choose the engine power more from 450ccm or more.

The performance of a motorcycle cannot be compared to one with that of a quad. With the same motor rating, a motorcycle is always much faster.

Ultimately, it is a question that you are willing to spend on such a quad.

Future quads with 350cc start at €4-6,000. At 450ccm and larger, you can quickly reach the order of 10,000€.
