Good car, low fuel consumption?

Good noon,

I'm currently a new driver and am looking for a car that's inexpensive (up to €2,000) and relatively fuel-efficient (economical). The car should also have no more than 160,000 mileage on it (in most cases). Maybe someone here is familiar with different models and can help me out! Please, cars from 2008 onwards.

Thanks!

There is only the Opel Corsa D 1.0.

It's about 5.5 liters. Many other small cars are not economical, eg Ford Ka 1 about 7.5 liters.

I recommend leasing a small car as a driver. Like a VW polo or an Audi a 1.The Audi a 3 also consumes as a gasoline ned as much, or just classic a VW Golf

Take Mercedes 200D. I bought the (1985) for 600 DM, was 10 years old with 200,000 km, and was very economical, so bought a 10 year old MB for 300 euros.
