Golf 4 1.4 16V?
Hallo zusammen,
Hello
Now the valve plate cleaner and/or the injection system cleaner is tipped into the tank and only a moderate 200-300km at the unit, then oil sludge remover will fall into the engine and then make an oil change and drive again 100km.
A compression test is then made “dry” and then one with oil is injected into combustion chamber.
This allows you to make a statement about the compression pressure and wear of the engine.
The engine was running for some time without ignition and with oil coal in the combustion chamber, that is why it does not have a compression pressure on octyl 3, 1, 4 and has to recover/start.
Either the valve shafts are “untight”, the piston rings are worn or broken or the crankcase ventilation is defective or often it is “all”. That’s why oil comes on the candles, which will eventually taste/stop.
So you only work through the KGH vent, except the piston rings are worn out then a replacement engine is announced. Piston rings are found by compression test/pressure loss or by borescopy.
If the piston rings OK are renewed the VSD even if the valve guides are usually already worn out and only once the oil coal is driven out as combustion chambers or as outlet valves, and the oil exchange intervals are also halved on a high Milage oil (Penzoil, Valvoline). It is then possible to stretch 50000-100000km of running power until the valve guides are at the end and the oil passes through or the HC values for the AU are too high. Head revision with own power and new plebiscue bearings > 1200€ Material and 8 hours at head in exchange. 100000km with 10 oil change and 4x candles renew yields 400€ material extra costs and 2 hours extra time
I’m not a specialist….but blue smoke and strong oil loss sounds very much after that he burns it. Compression looks good. Let’s see what the DVT brings. You don’t have anything like oil thinning (but I think that’s the wrong direction anyway….).
Don’t, compression is supposed to be about 11-13 bar, I just wanted to ask if someone like me also…
Okay, I’m afraid my knowledge isn’t enough. But I’m not such a big screwdriver either. And the more modern the vehicle is, the less you do (for safety reasons) yourself.
