Going to the DVG without parents for ticket inspection?

Hello. Today on my way home, I was stopped by an inspector. Unfortunately, I only had my ticket with me; I left my ID and the rest of my wallet at home before I left this morning. Tomorrow I'm supposed to go to the DVG in Duisburg. Is that at the main station? And do I need to bring my parents with me? How does it work if I show my ticket and ID?

Yes, the DVG customer center is at the main station (Harry-Epstein-Platz). You don't need to bring your parents. You will present your chocolate ticket together with the ID and pay a fee (increased promotion fee) of about € 5. This should be done.
