I have a problem. There are a lot of concerts I'd love to go to. However, my friends have completely different musical tastes than I do. Now I'm considering just going alone. Do you have any experience with this?

At all my concerts this year I was alone, apart from one. Waiting time is a little unpleasant, but after that you don’t care about it. You would regret to miss this concert just because nobody can go with you

If the band belongs to your favorite band, you dance and sing anyway and it is not boring. Maybe you can talk to the people next to you.
It wasn’t the case with me that I spoke to anyone, but that wasn’t bad either.
Before the concert even SWR 3 advertised for their station that they will play late Linkin Park songs.
So I could enjoy an addition on my 1 1/2 hour drive home!
I was alone at concerts because the friends were prevented or had no desire. There you get to know quite quickly people you can stick to and have the same music taste.
Yeah, I was in principle alone at a concert, so last year at The Weeknd. My girlfriend had a seat with her girlfriend and I had a standing place. We didn’t even see each other at the concert. Anyway, I found it cool alone and would do it again. You always get to know other people there. I even took videos with them. That was so fun.
Go alone! On concerts you can also find super fast connection.

I wasn’t alone at my concerts this year, but still noticed how easy you can connect with other people, especially Swifties among each other. That was such a safeplace where you understood well, no matter what.
With other artists I don’t know how this is, but you’ll definitely find good connection, and if not, that’s not a problem.
Personally, I wouldn’t want to miss a concert just because I have to go alone! Next year I also go to one alone, no problem 🙃
