Going live on Twitch – What do I need to set up and consider?

  • Programs
  • Start stream (Which program?)
  • Chat
  • Bot protection
  • Scam protection
  • Channel points
  • Subscriptions
  • Emotes

HOW does it all work?

I already have a few followers and would like to know something

So:

  • I recommend streamlabs OBS from my own experience. Relatively easy to adjust. Be careful that bit rate, resolution etc… are well set.
  • What you mean, “Chat” doesn’t really reveal to me. What exactly do you want to know? So you can see the chat directly in Streamlabs without any additional program.
  • Botschutz: I use the bot of Streamelements. If that’s the best, I don’t know…
  • You set channel points in your settings at Twitch. I generally recommend you go through all Twitch settings and look what you need and what you don’t.
  • Abos: Are you Twitch Affiliate or Partner? You must be to activate Abos.

I also use a stream overlay (design) for my stream. Looks like I’m cooler, but of course it’s a good thing. There are also many free to find on the internet.

If you have any questions, please contact 😉

Hi I only have the program OBS …. (Can you download on the internet) Also gives many Youtube videos… that would explain everything here to blow up the frame… Anyway, OBS is quite simple ….you just have to link the program to your Twitch account and go to Stream Start …

Like I said, please look at some Youtube videos… you can’t explain everything here…

What’s important is that your PC is a bit good… so with such a 300 Euro notebook is getting heavy…

Your Internet line should have at least 10 Mbits upload … download is no matter how much it should be 50 Mbits!

And in the beginning, you’ll only have 0 watchers… so it takes time… don’t expect 10 people to come in!
