GMX filter rule forwarding without spam?
With GMX, you can use a filter rule to forward all incoming emails to a different email address. The filter can also be configured to exclude certain senders, for example.
My GMX email address receives quite a bit of spam, which GMX does an exemplary job of sorting into the spam folder. Unfortunately, these spam emails are also forwarded via the filter rule, which I obviously don't want, especially since GMX has such great spam detection.
Does anyone know how to prevent spam emails from being forwarded?
Since I have a free account with GMX, I unfortunately don't receive any support from GMX.
A few years ago, I had the same thing there. The “lusty” thing was that I had a paid account in the meantime. No spam was passed on. It seemed to me that GMX would work out the processes in a different order here with paid accesses.
But why do you even use GMX if you only forward the mail?
Because I have the email address about since 2000 and don’t want to give it. Perhaps the only way (besides a paid account) is no longer to forward and to look manually there from time to time. And generally not to have emails sent there.
What is extremely annoying me is that there is no support at GMX. Customer questions and advice can be helpful for the future for GMX?
