Glue exhaust with high-temperature adhesive for TÜV?

Hey,

My car is due for its MOT soon. I looked at the car and noticed that there is a small crack on the exhaust, where it is connected to the muffler.

Welding is out of the question because, firstly, I'm not good at welding, and secondly, I believe it would only make the crack a bigger hole, as welding wouldn't work with all the rust on the exhaust. Installing a new pipe or muffler simply wouldn't be worth it for the car.

Now I've seen on the Internet that there is special glue for exactly this kind of thing (e.g. https://www.autodoc.de/ma-profesional/15078141?gshp=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjbagBhD3ARIsANRrqEtRgLtlkv3eYAjnbirxAbCk6BwOxnoaYMcczdpOke9zBnbWr42OZfUaAnyfEALw_wcB).

My question is, if I can seal it with this, will that be a problem during the general inspection?

Many thanks in advance.

No, you don’t get close to it, you don’t keep on rust.

In addition, the stuff is thought of when you restart the exhaust that you can seal the parts of it against each other.

Then your hole will grow. Because stuff doesn’t work as a pure hole lubricant.

If the grate is only superficial, you don’t need a sealing compound, because then nothing is substantiated.

superficial rust at the exhaust interested in the tüv anyway

If it doesn’t get out of the crack, it doesn’t matter to the TÜV.

Otherwise seal with GunGum repair paste, old beverage can and wire or two matching hose clamps.
