The question has arisen as it is.

by a reference:

In this case, the bank can automatically book the direct debit back so that you do not come to minus.

by the bank itself (account management or the like):

the 6 cents remain minus and will be paid automatically after the next cash intake.

in both cases nothing is locked.

No bank or savings bank locks the account for an overdraft.
