Does right-hand traffic apply here?
Hello there ,
We are the green arrow and are driving in that direction. Next to it we see a red arrow pointing to the ground. There are three white stripes on the ground. Does right-hand traffic apply here, or can I continue driving because of these white stripes?
Both right-handed roads are subordinate traffic areas (home accesses or the like), which is why you – although on the left-hand side, but in traffic – have progress.
Legal basis in Austria: § 19 para. 6 StVO.
3rd picture: If the right-hand vehicle is standing, the handlebar has automatically dispensed with its priority.
For all 3 examples:
The interrupted waiting line (signs 341 to § 42 dt. StVO) is not a binding requirement within the meaning of the Road Transport Regulation. It merely recommends that the person who is subject to waiting be stopped at the designated point.
Thank you for your answer, so if I understand correctly in picture three, the one who stands right and I can continue straight ahead. There’s no right in front of the left, right?
That’s it.
What do you recognize that Austria is? I would’ve tipped to Germany.
Absolutely correct tip on your side.
The Austrian and German StVO differs only insignificantly. As an international transport lawyer (although I am an Ösi), I know myself well in both (and other European) legal regulations.
With us in AT, the sign “Fußgängerzone” looks a little different, and we also do not have broken holding lines. That’s secondary.
I’d rather get it from the pictures. But also only from feeling, as often as I am not in Austria. 😅
In principle, right.
But I cannot foresee whether the questioner comes from DE or AT.
Unfortunately, the respective data in the GF profile are missing too often.
So better “double tumbled” so that citizens of both countries have what of it (and also saves questions).
That’s why.
However, Austrian legal bases are rather useless for the German regulations, since you can actually leave them away before it becomes confusing. 😅
The legal and legal situation does not look different.
This is and remains a garage access or Exit, and is also signposted as a pedestrian zone. This actually doubles a subordinate traffic area.
I should have written in
The shield was recently removed so the question.

If you come from above (like the dark Mercedes), you have a right-wing priority anyway.
If you come from the opposite direction, you must not go straight ahead, because there (directly above the Mercedes) is the traffic sign “Unmissed”, in the popular mouth “traveled one-way”. This is why the priority question is not at all: you have to bend right and the one coming on the underground garage to the left. There is thus no danger of collision.
Have another play 4 with 2 pictures uploaded. This hasn’t been a cycle track since the latest, if I just want to get out and right someone comes out of the garage exit then I have to wait or can I continue straight ahead? An exit is a subordinate road, is it?
Right!
Let’s take in picture 3 it’s so that on the right a car goes out of the right road, but I just want to get out. Then the right in front of the left is not a subordinate road and a waiting line is not required to wait right?
With the soil marking alone, nothing can be said. The signage is more important. If this is missing, apply right in front of the left.
The first picture, however, seems to be an exit (base), not a publicly dedicated road. No way to go.
Many thanks , how does it look at picture 3 ?
I already wrote: “On the basis of soil marking alone, nothing can be said. The signage is more important. If this is missing, the right in front of the left.”
In the second picture you don’t see if there are signs. Without signs, of course, right in front of the left.
Upstairs.
Have you ever seen a 3rd picture, do you mean by the top?
As with technical drawings, floor markings are meant only supporting and not binding. Only in the case of stop holder, you must come to the standstill of all 4 at this line and then roll up to the line of sight.
So if it is not otherwise signposted, right in front of the left.
At the lower shield, however, the question would arise, which sign is hanging at the visible stake, as you are right here clearly on the main road.
These are traffic lights but they are out of operation
If the traffic lights don’t have additional signs and you’re sure you’re not on a previously signposted road, the right is in front of the left.
Rectangular Mirror (converting sign 306)
OR
Exit ONLY at the next crossing behind this sign with the sign ( traffic sign 301)
If I’m really thick, through the yellow, oval shield, right?
Do you even know when you’re on a driveway?
How does it look at picture 3?
Thank you for your answer, these things are fast to confuse with waiting lines .
