GIGABYTE B660M DS3H AX DDR4 – Welchen RAM?
Hallo liebe Leute!
Hello,
how about 4x8GB Corsair Vengeance GDR4 3600 cl16?
the LPX 32GB
A pack of 4 bars for €87.64.
That should be enough.

There are also many other alternatives.
I think this is a good solution.

Thanks for looking out, but I already have 16Gb and now want 32Gb. According to my motherboard, this is supported here (I believe):
I already know the specs, your motherboards.
Before I recommend something.
The G.Skill out, and 4 x 8GB Corsair in.
You can take even faster,
The Intel core i5-12400 does not need any faster than 3600MHz DDR 4 CL16 distributed to all 4 RAM slots.
The offer.

so Intel says:
Storage specifications
Max. memory size (depending on memory type)
128 GB
Storage types
Up to DDR5 4800 MT/s
Up to DDR4 3200 MT/s
Max. Number of storage channels
2
Max. Storage bandwidth
76.8 GB/s
then I’d rather stay at 3200, higher ram clock rates may not be my CPU. Thank you anyway!
In the o.c. already.
So if you activate XMP.
Overclocking!

I looked at the UEFI, my RAM was running only on 2133MHz… but I’m gonna turn on XMP and on 3200 my PC doesn’t even boot. Only when I put on 3100MHz is it booting into Windows ….
Don’t worry about Black Week usually doesn’t make any deals that are beneficial for PC construction, so you don’t miss anything:P
At Ram there are few basic rules:
The more MHz, the faster
The less CL the faster
Then you still have to pay attention not to buy GDR3 or 5 and now you know enough to select the most favorable 🙂 the rest is optics
Thank you.
But I must also see which RAM is supported by the motherboard or the maximum clock rate
Good objection, but as long as the motherboard is not a noname China thing, most common tactics should be supported. Safety 🙂
Yeah, I think you’ve analyzed this right… I’ve never heard that you can overclock a motherboard. But with 3200mhz you will find enough RAM you can then use
For example, to use RAM with 3600MHz clock rate, would I have to do something there, or is it then simply recognized and good?
I ask because O.C. stands behind it and I now have no great desire to screw around somewhere to use the RAM with the higher clock rate. Because it looks like “only”: 3200/3000/2933/2666/2400/2133 MT/s
It is therefore necessary to make ‘things’ for more.
I hope you understand what I mean
