Are there USB memory sticks or hard drives that also support Wi-Fi?

Hi, I have a piano that can connect a USB stick, but I find it a bit tedious to unplug the stick and run back and forth every time. Also, because you always have to wait a few seconds before you can remove the stick.

Hence the question: Are there sticks or hard drives that you can connect to the piano for saving music, but also access the storage via Wi-Fi without removing the stick (e.g., from a laptop)? Perhaps you have another idea…

Unfortunately, I can't simply connect a cable directly to my laptop or phone because you always have to format the storage device first on the piano, which would erase everything there. There's a dedicated port for computers, etc., but you can't access the piano's memory or save data directly to the other device.

As far as I know, there's also a Wi-Fi adapter specifically for the piano, but apparently you can only connect a smart device for audio playback through it. (And Yamaha was generous enough to let you use just their Wi-Fi USB adapter, which costs a "cheap" €100.)

Is a Yamaha Clavinova CVP-805

Thanks in advance 🙂

There are SD cards with WLAN, which you could connect to the piano via a USB card reader

How about you play directly on the PC via an audio interface? For example. https://www.thomann.de/de/steinberg_ur22c.htm You have a lot more possibilities

With the USB Wi-Fi stick I think it’s more like Knorz.

naja, son Interface offers even more. Playing through midi, controlling mixing ratio for headphones, etc.

And with Cubase AI you can do something like that. In the end, the PLV is significantly better. And space can be created or is quickly built.
