Is there any government funding for the disabled in the USA?
I know there's no such thing as welfare benefits (H4) or social assistance, but there are "disability benefits" from the state. And what is the definition of "disabled"?

Yes, there are 2 programs for this (SSDI and SSI), if necessary Medicare or Medicaid.

Of course, people in the United States are not simply starving. But there is no systematic basic security, as in Germany. The help is more provided by caritative institutes.
But I can imagine the fastest, even what gets there. Legally speaking, there is no enforceable claim
