Yes, there is. Mushrooms can grow differently and it is, to some extent, also in the eye of the observer, how the appearance of a fungus is assessed. It’s also a matter of experience. If you’re asking, you’ll be easier to confuse than a real mushroom chandelier. Here is a nice video on the topic:

This statement may be in favour of some experienced mushroom pickers, but fungus noobs and semi-strong allwissers could certainly get to the wrong mushroom, such as the Conocybe filaris
