I work in money transport. Here earrings are tolerated but nose piercing, mouth piercing etc is prohibited that must be pulled out before service.

Yes, there are professions where this is generally not accepted.

And then, regardless of the profession, there are many employers who reject this and do not hire such candidates (of course not officially with this justification).
