Change habits by taking the contraceptive pill?

Hey, I'm checking in here in the middle of the night. I'm probably going to get my period tonight or tomorrow morning. Since I'm new to the pill, I have to take it for the first time tomorrow.

Aside from the fact that I'm not entirely convinced by it, I'm really afraid of the side effects. Which of my habits can I change so that, in the best case scenario, my life doesn't change much? I'm especially worried about the weight gain and the psychological aspects…

My gynecologist is very supportive of the pill, and unfortunately, nothing else has helped with my pain. So I'm trying the pill now. If it doesn't work for me, I'll have to find an alternative.

dearest greetings

IdR (at over 90%) does not have any negative NW, because you should trust the doctor and not let you be insecure by SM/YT/TT. It does not increase and since it was originally developed as a drug against menstrual complaints, it is medically indicated in your case. In addition, together with IUDs, it is the most secure reversible contraceptive. After 3-6 months, you can see if you can trust another one even better

Just wait. Various women have no side effects. I’ve been taking the pill for 14 years and apart from being incompatible with my first pill, I never had any problems with it. Then, of course, changed the preparation, and the problem was off the table.

Don’t be crazy.
